After unveiling a lineup of ZenBooks and VivoBooks at the Computex 2017 this week, Asus has now launched its third generation mainstream notebook VivoBook Max X541/A541 in India. The price of the notebook starts at Rs 31,990, and is already available for purchase. The notebook is available in five color options, that is chocolate brown, red, silver gradient, aqua blue and white. The Asus VivoBook Max X541 sports 15.6-inch full HD antiglare display. It weighs about 1.9 kg. As for the specifications, the gut of the VivoBook Max X541 is powered by latest 7th generation Intel Core i3 processors, which is accompanied by 4GB DDR4 RAM running at 2400MHz. The RAM is expandable up to 12GB. Ergonomics wise, the VivoBook Max X541 features gaming grade Chiclet keyboard with 2.3mm key travel distance. Asus says that the touchpad on the notebook has been architectured 11 percent larger than those found on similarly sized laptops and features palm rejection technology for precise input. Further, the Asus notebook features twin 3W speakers with 24cc sound chambers, and a special transmission line design, along with Asus SonicMaster audio technology. It also comes with Asus Tru2life video technology that claimingly provides 200 percent sharper visuals. For connectivity, the notebook comes with a reversible USB Type C connector, which Asus claims can offer 5Gbps data transfer speeds. The notebook has a USB 3.1, USB 3.0, USB 2.0, VGA and HDMI port. The VivoBook Max also features something called the Asus Splendid Technology, which provides three different picture modes for various scenarios like for example, eye care mode, normal mode and vivid mode. Users can also customize these settings to their personal preferences. The notebook also comes with a SuperBatt technology which provides three times longer battery lifespan.
