The Zenfone 3 Deluxe phablet will go on sale in certain Asian markets in the month of August, manilashaker.com reports. While the pricing and availability details are scarce at the moment, the standard variant with 6GB RAM + 64GB onboard storage is priced at $499 (which is approximately Rs 33,500). For those wondering, the Snapdragon 823 SoC is the exact same as the Snapdragon 820 with quad-core custom Kyro CPU. However, the new processor runs at a slightly higher clock speed. Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe price, specifications, features: One of the key highlights of the new Zenfone 3-series is the Pure Metal technology used for making an all-metal unibody design without the antenna lines. The Zenfone 3 Deluxe has thin slim bezels on the sides with 79 percent screen to body ratio. It is also equipped with a fingerprint scanner at the back for biometric authentication. The Zenfone 3 Deluxe is a phablet that flaunts a 5.7-inch AMOLED full HD (1080p) display. Under the hood is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 quad-core processor paired with 6GB of RAM and Adreno 530GPU. The phablet will be offered in 64GB and 128GB UFS onboard storage options.
In the photography department, the phablet sports a 23-megpaixel rear camera with Sony IMX 318 Sensor and covered with Sapphire crystal glass. The camera also features PDAF that can focus in 0.3 seconds, laser auto-focus, continuous auto-focus and 4K video recording capabilities. Asus has also equipped the smartphone with a 4-axis OIS along with EIS (electronic image stabilization) to help you capture blur-free photos. The camera app also features a super-resolution mode that allows you to capture photos in 92-megapixel resolution.
Running on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow wrapped under Asus ZEN UI, connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth, GPS, and 4G LTE. With USB Type-C connectivity port, the smartphone is armed with a 3,000mAh battery and Quick Charge 3.0 support to charge up to 60 percent battery in 39 minutes.
