Last week Asus sent out invitations for its August 19 event in Philippines. If the poster is to be believed, Asus will be launching the much-rumored Zenfone 4 at the event. Now ahead of the launch, a new leak has revealed the alleged pricing and key specifications of the upcoming smartphone. According to leakster Roland Quandt, the Zenfone 4 Pro will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC paired with 6GB of RAM, and 64GB of inbuilt storage. He further claims that the device will cost $650, which is approximately Rs 41,500. The Asus Zenfone 4, on the other hand, is expected to feature 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable storage. The device will be priced at $400, which is approximately to Rs 25,500. The Zenfone 4 is also said to be among the first smartphones featuring Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 630 SoC. From what we have heard so far, the Asus Zenfone 4 is expected to launch in two variants one powered by a Snapdragon 660 SoC, while the other by a Snapdragon 630 SoC. Unfortunately, other details of the upcoming smartphone are still a mystery.

Earlier this month, Asus took the wraps off the Zenfone 4 Max, with prices in Russia starting from RUB 13,900 (approximately Rs 15,200). The smartphone comes with a 5.5-inch 1080p display, and it comes in two variants one powered by 1.4GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC, and other with Snapdragon 425 quad-core SoC.
The smartphone further includes up to 4GB of RAM, and with 16GB/32GB/64GB internal storage options. It packs a pair of 13-megapixel primary camera with auto-focus, and 13-megapixel wide-angle camera, and there is an 8-megapixel camera with f/2.2 aperture. It comes with a 5,000mAh battery onboard.
