Earlier this week, Asus launched the flagship Zenfone 5Z smartphone in India as a Flipkart exclusive. The base variant with 64GB storage starts at Rs 29,999, whereas the top-end variant will set you back by Rs 36,999. Asus and Flipkart have also partnered ICICI Bank to offer Rs 3,000 discount when you buy the Zenfone 5Z, which brings down the effective price to Rs 26,999 for the base variant. Now, just days after launched, Asus has started rolling out an update to improve its performance.

The update also brings improvements to camera performance, notification LED, NFC, and secure album. Asus is also promising enhanced video call quality, better focus speed during video recording, improved power management and fixes screen flicker issue while starting and stopping the video recording. Besides, the update also brings stability and performance improvements.
