The Asus Zenfone 5Z is all set to go on sale on July 4, and will be exclusive to Flipkart initially. While thus far we didn’t know any details about pricing, a new leak gives away all the key details. A report by Gadgets 360 reveals that the Asus Zenfone 5Z is set to go on sale starting at Rs 29,999 for the 6GB RAM / 64GB storage variant.
The post also gives away details of the color variants that will be available in India, as well as pricing of the higher variants. The base variant will be available in meteor silver and midnight blue color variants, while there will also be variants with 8GB RAM and either 128GB or 256GB of internal storage. The 128GB storage option will be priced at Rs 32,999, while the 256GB storage option will sell at Rs 36,999. These listings have been taken down, so it’s possible that the pricing could be different at the official reveal tomorrow.
If the pricing turns out to be accurate, this will price the Asus Zenfone 5Z at lower than its two primary competitors, the OnePlus 6 and Honor 10. The OnePlus 6 is priced at Rs 34,999 for the 6GB/64GB variant, Rs 39,999 for the 8GB/128GB variant and Rs 43,999 for the 8GB/256GB variant. The Honor 10 is priced at Rs 32,999, but comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage in a single variant. The lower pricing of the Asus Zenfone 5Z will no doubt help it get an edge over its two key competitors.
