Asus has introduced a new smartphone under its Zenfone series. Called the Zenfone Live (ZB501KL), the smartphone comes with a real-time beautification mode, BeautyLive. The live filters can be used while live streaming on Facebook or YouTube. The smartphone also comes with dual MEMS microphones, which the company says helps remove background noise and enhance voice pickup. For selfie enthusiasts, the smartphone comes with 1.4 m pixels that helps capture more light. It features soft light LED flash , which is supposed to help illuminate skin tones. The front facing camera is also equipped with a wide-angle lens with 82-degree field of view. The front camera comes with low light, manual, night and selfie modes.
The Asus Zenfone Live will be available in Shimmer Gold, Rose Pink and Navy Black color options. Asus hasn t yet disclosed details about the the price and availability of the smartphone.

The Asus ZenFone Live measures 141.2×71.7×7.9mm and is quite light at 120 grams. The smartphone features a 5-inch HD IPS display with 2.5D glass, a screen-to-body ratio of 75 percent and also comes with a Bluelight Filter feature.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon quad-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM. The company has not yet revealed the chipset details. The smartphone comes in 16GB and 32GB storage options. The smartphone supports expandable storage up to 128GB via microSD card. Additionally, Asus will also give up to 100GB free storage on Google Drive for two years.
On the camera front, the smartphone will sport a 13-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture, autofocus, and LED flash. It also packs a 5-megapixel front camera with f/2.2 aperture, 1.4-micron pixel size, and soft light LED flash.

The smartphone also comes with accelerator, e-compass, proximity, and ambient light sensors. Connectivity options include dual-SIM support, 4G LTE, VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB 2.0. On the software front, the smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based ZenUI 3.5. Right now there s no word on when the smartphone will be upgraded to Android Nougat.
