Last week, Flipkart and Asus announced a strategic tie-up, and as a part of the partnership, the company will soon be launching a new smartphone called Zenfone Max Pro M1 in India. The launch event is set to take place on April 23 in Delhi. At the time of making the announcement, Asus revealed that the smartphone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 octa-core SoC.
A couple of days back we had come across leaked specifications revealing that the smartphone will be armed with a massive 5,000mAh battery, which has been one of the USPs of the Asus Zenfone Max-series. Like the previous iterations, we can also expect the smartphone to come with reverse charging feature that will allow you to use the smartphone as a power bank to recharge other smartphones. Leaks also hinted that the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 will run sure stock Android Oreo OS out-of-the-box.

Now, courtesy of leakster Evan Blass, press renders of the smartphone along with its specifications have been leaked. As we can see, the front panel houses an edge-to-edge display with 18:9 aspect ratio, and thankfully there is no display notch. It is expected to sport a 6-inch full HD+ display packed in a 5.5-inch body. At the back, you have the vertically placed dual cameras along with LED flash and a circular fingerprint sensor placed at the center.
Besides Snapdragon 636 octa-core SoC, the smartphone will be paired with 4GB of RAM, dual SIM card slots and a dedicated microSD card slot for storage expansion. Previous leak also hinted at 6GB RAM with 64GB storage, up to 16-megapixel dual cameras at the back with portrait mode, and 16-megapixel front camera with LED flash and face unlock feature.
