Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 ‘Blue’ color variant will be up for sale for the first time on Flipkart today at 12:00PM. The company had initially launched the Zenfone Max Pro M1 in two color variants, Black and Grey. But earlier this week, it brought the third color variant, which will be going on sale on Flipkart.

Unlike the available open sale for Black and Grey variants, the Blue color Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 will be up for purchase via flash sale. Asus will be selling all three different RAM/storage variants – 3GB+32GB, 4GB+64GB, and 6GB+64GB – in today’s sale. To recall, the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 was launched in April, and the base variant starts at Rs 10,999. The 4GB RAM variant with 64GB storage is priced at Rs 12,999. The company’s higher-end version with 6GB of RAM and 64GB storage comes at Rs 14,999.

Asus claims that the Zenfone Max Pro M1 has emerged as one of the popular devices in the sub-Rs 15,000 price segment.

Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 Specifications and features

The ZenFone Max Pro M1 features a 5.99-inch LCD display with a resolution of 2160×1080 pixels, and taller 18:9 aspect ratio. The Zenfone Max Pro M1 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset, the same as the one found on the Redmi Note 5 Pro.

All the three models feature a dual-camera setup at the rear, but the configuration varies according to variants. The 3GB and 4GB RAM variants feature a combination of 13-megapixel and 5-megapixel dual cameras at the back, and an 8-megapixel selfie shooter at the front. The 6GB RAM variant gets an updated dual camera module with 16-megapixel and 5-megapixel image sensors and a 16-megapixel selfie camera. The front camera also supports face unlock, but it is less reliable than the rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.

While Asus has matched Xiaomi in terms of specifications, it is software that makes it stand out. With the Zenfone Max Pro M1, Asus has changed its ZenUI to offer an experience that is closer to stock Android. It also packs a larger 5,000mAh battery compared to the 4,000mAh battery found under the hood of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro.
