Asus is all set to launch two more smartphones – Zenfone Max Pro and Zenfone Max M2 – in Gurugram today. Both smartphones are mid-range devices, and went official in Russia last week.
The successor to the popular Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 will also feature stock Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box. The Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It is also possible that Asus might launch more variants of the Zenfone Max Pro M2 in India today.
Up front, the handset will feature a 6.3-inch FullHD+ notched display with a resolution of 1080×2280 pixels, and a 19:9 aspect ratio. For imaging, the Zenfone Max Pro M2 has a dual-lens camera system, comprised of a 12-megapixel unit and a 5-megapixel unit. It will also have a 13-megapixel single lens for selfies and video calls. Asus has already confirmed a massive 5,000mAh battery for the Max Pro M2.
The Asus Zenfone Max M2 is expected to be toned-down variant of the Zenfone Max Pro M2. In Russia, the handset features a Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 632 SoC, paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. There’s a 6.3-inch HD+ notched display, with a resolution of 720×1520 pixels and a 19:9 aspect ratio.
Asus event will be live streamed on Asus India’s official YouTube channel at 12:30 PM, and we will be churning out live updates right here.
