Asus has launched a new variant of its ZenPad 3S 10 tablet. Bearing the model number Z500KL, the new variant comes with LTE support. The tablet is currently available in Malaysia for $405, which is Rs 27,600 approximately. Right now, there s no word on availability of the device outside Malaysia. The tablet comes with a protective cover and custom design stand, and is available in Slate Grey color option.
The Asus ZenPad 3S 10 LTE weighs around 490 grams and is 5.8mm slim. Asus claims the tablet has a modern styling with clean lines and an exquisite metallic texture along with double and diamond-cut edges .
The tablet looks highly similar to the original ZenPad 3S 10, which is bit lighter at 430 grams weight but with same measurement. The new Asus ZenPad 3S 10 has similar specifications to that of the original version but with some changes. The new version comes with LTE support, a larger 7,800mAh battery and Snapdragon 650 processor as compared to 5,900mAh battery and MediaTek MT8176 processor. The older ZenPad 3S 10 was launched at last year s IFA event alongside ZenWatch 3.

The Asus ZenPad 3S 10 LTE has a 9.7-inch 2K display with 10 finger multi-touch support. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow, and is powered by 1.8GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 processor along with 4GB LPDDR3 of RAM. It comes with 32GB of internal storage. Asus is offering 5GB of complimentary Asus webstorage space along with 100GB of Google Drive storage for two years.
The tablet comes with 8-megapixel rear camera with auto-focus and 1080p video recording support. It has a 5-megapixel front camera that can also record full HD videos. For audio, the ZenPad 3S 10 LTE features DTS HD Premium Sound .
Connectivity options include LTE, Bluetooth V4.1+EDR +A2DP & Bluetooth Smart (Bluetooth low energy), Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Type-C port, GPS, GLONASS and AGPS. The 7,800mAh battery is said to deliver 16 hours of back up on single charge. In comparison, the original Asus ZenPAd 3S 10 came in 32GB and 64GB storage variants, and lacks cellular connectivity.
