Beetel Teletech has launched a wireless Mi-Fi router called the Beetel 3G Max in India. Priced at Rs 5,500, this portable router creates a Wi-Fi hotspot for up to 5 devices (phones, laptops, tablets or desktops) when connected to a 3G mobile connection. It works for all Wi-Fi enabled devices and offers data download speeds up to 7.2 Mbps. It is compatible with Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, MAC, Linux operating Systems and the battery should be able to run for nearly 4 hours on a single charge. The Beetel 3G Max is quite similar to Micromax’s Speedster MMX400R router, covers almost the same tech specs but costs a tad higher than the latter.
