Belkin just announced its first MFi certified Boost Charge Power Bank 10K. As the 10K in the name suggests, this power bank comes with a capacity of 10,000mAh. It is the first power bank from the company that can be charged via a Lightning input. This means that users can use the same cable to charge their iPhone, iPad and power bank.
The new Belkin Boost Charge Power Bank 10K comes with one Lightning port placed right between two USB-A ports. Having two standard USB ports means it can charge any smartphone or tablet. Having a Lightning port also allows you to charge the power bank while simultaneously charging two other devices. The power bank features a capacity of 10,000mAh and carries LED indicators to denote the battery level.
Besides that, the Belkin Boost Charge Power Bank 10K looks just like an ordinary power bank. It will be available in black and white colors with dimensions of 154.45×71.00×17.00mm, and weighs 240 grams. The device is available for pre-order on Belkin’s US website for $59, which is approximately Rs 4,000. While there are other power banks that can also charge iPhones and iPads, the MFi-certification on Belkin Boost Charge Power Bank 10K guarantees compatibility with Apple devices.
Besides this, Belkin is also launching its fast-charging portable power bank in India called the Pocket Power. The all-new power bank is available in 5,000mAh and 10,000mAh capacities, at a price of Rs 2,599 and Rs 3,999 respectively. It’s the most compact power bank designed by Belkin, thanks to its polymer battery cell technology. The power bank is also equipped with fast-charging capabilities and comes in black color.
