Asus has launched its flagship Zenfone 5Z in India after having first unveiled it at MWC 2018. Prices for the new smartphone start at Rs 29,999, and go up to 36,999 for the top-end model. As you would expect from a flagship device, the Zenfone 5Z comes with top-of-the-line specifications like 6.2-inch edge-to-edge notched display, Snapdragon 845 SoC, up to 8GB of RAM, and up to 256GB internal storage. There is a dual-camera setup (12-megapixel+8-megapixel) at the back, 8-megapixel selfie camera, and 3,300mAh battery with fast charging support. Xiaomi Redmi 5

Xiaomi Redmi 5 is the cheapest smartphone in this list and is aimed at first-time smartphone buyers in the country. It features a modern design and sports a 5.7-inch display with 18:9 display. It is powered by a Snapdragon 450 SoC coupled with 2GB or 3GB RAM and 16GB or 32GB storage. It has a 12-megapixel primary camera with f/2.2 aperture and a 5-megapixel secondary camera. The Redmi 5 is the successor to Redmi 4 and it starts at Rs 7,999. The smartphone is backed by a 3,300mAh battery and is available in Gold, Lake Blue, Black and Rose Gold colors.

Huawei P20 Pro

The Huawei P20 Pro is the flagship smartphone for those who want a superior imaging experience. It is the only smartphone in the market to feature triple lens setup with the primary sensor having 40-megapixel sensor along with a dedicated sensor for 3x optical zoom and a monochrome sensor.

Huawei P20 Pro is not just about its camera. It features an impressive design with a blue finish that tends to change color with light falling on the surface. The smartphone has a 6.1-inch AMOLED display, Kirin 970 CPU, 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage. The Huawei P20 Pro is priced at Rs 64,999 and is available exclusively on Amazon India.

OnePlus 6 is arguably the best OnePlus smartphone yet. The company with the ‘Never Settle’ moto has produced a premium smartphone that will not put a dent on your wallet. The smartphone features metal and glass sandwich design similar to Samsung and Apple’s flagships and starts at Rs 34,999.

Even in terms of specifications, we are looking at flagship features including a 6.28-inch notched AMOLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset, up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB storage. It sports dual rear camera setup with 16-megapixel and 20-megapixel sensors and a 16-megapixel selfie camera. It runs Android 8.0 Oreo and packs a 3,300mAh battery.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro

The Redmi Note 5 Pro was launched early this year as the premium successor to last year’s Redmi Note 4. It features a thin bezel design that supports a 5.99-inch display with taller 18:9 aspect ratio. It also comes with Snapdragon 636 chipset, up to 6GB RAM and 64GB storage. There is also dual rear camera and a 20-megapixel selfie camera with face unlock mechanism.

The Redmi Note 5 Pro is one of the best smartphones in the sub-Rs 20,000 price segment. It recently received MIUI 9 based on Android Oreo, packs a 4,000mAh battery and it starts at Rs 14,999.

Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1

Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 is the most legitimate threat to Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 5 Pro in the market right now. It is

also powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 CPU and can be configured with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage. It is priced at Rs 14,999, which makes it cheaper than the Redmi Note 5 Pro.

Samsung Galaxy S9+

One of the best flagship smartphone this year is the Samsung Galaxy S9+. With Galaxy S9+, Samsung has fixed all the minor flaws seen on its predecessor and equipped the device with an updated dual rear camera system.

Nokia 7 Plus

If you are looking for a smartphone in the Rs 20,000 and Rs 30,000 price segment then the Nokia 7 Plus is the best option right now. It features an industrial design with unibody aluminum casing and premium ZEISS dual rear camera setup. The Nokia 7 Plus is priced at Rs 25,999 and is available on Amazon India.

The Nokia 7 Plus features a 6-inch display with 18:9 aspect ratio and is powered by Snapdragon 660 SoC. Moto G6

Moto G6 is the successor to last year’s Moto G5S and it features a modern design with a glass back and 18:9 display. Powering the device is Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 chipset coupled with up to 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. It has dual rear camera setup and an updated 16-megapixel selfie camera.
