According to the listing, the new Lenovo X2 which has been codenamed Lenovo X2Pt5 comes with a 5.3-inch screen with full-HD support. This is an incremental improvement over original Lenovo X2 s 5-inch screen. The phone has also become thinner and at 6.8mm, is thinner than the original X2 by 0.5mm. The new Lenovo X2 still has the same octa-core processor as the original X2, however, it has been under clocked from 2GHz to 1.5GHz. On the camera front, the phone now comes with an 8-megapixel selfie snapper which is an improvement over the 5-megapixel camera the original X2 sports. But other than that, the rear camera (13-megapixel), RAM (2GB), and internal storage (16GB expandable) still remain the same.
Lenovo is yet to officially unveil the device, but given that it has been approved by China s Telecommunications Equipment Center, we can expect the phone to be officially unveiled soon. Meanwhile, the Lenovo Vibe X2 is now available in India on Flipkart, priced at Rs 19,999.
