Chinese electronics maker TCL is sending out media invites for an event at IFA 2018 in Berlin at the end of August. According to TNW, the company is planning to launch a new product on the day, and it is widely expected to be the much-rumored BlackBerry Key2 Lite or BlackBerry Key2 LE.

This is not the first time that we have heard about both the devices, and the Key2 LE cleared FCC certification at the end of last month. Alleged hands-on image of the Key2 Lite too has surfaced on the internet about a month back. As pointed out in the report, the device is likely to be a reworked, and possibly lighter version of the Key2 that the company has already launched in the market.

Not much is known about the devices at the time of writing, but previous leaks have indicated that the design on the new device will be similar to what we have seen with the KeyONE and Key2.

According to previous leaks, it is speculated that the device will come with a code name “Luna”. It is also likely that the device will be available in two colors – silver and black.
