Days after a massive leak, TCL has unveiled the newest BlackBerry smartphone. In line with what has been rumored so far, the new BlackBerry Motion is an all-touchscreen Android smartphone. As you can see from the above image, the BlackBerry Motion looks a lot like the KEYone. But the one visible absentee is the QWERTY keypad. Instead, the Motion flaunts a 5.5-inch LCD touchscreen display. Below the display you see the capacitive navigation keys along with a home button boasting the BlackBerry logo. BlackBerry Motion specifications, features
As far as specifications go, the BlackBerry Motion flaunts a full HD (1920×1080 pixels) resolution display, and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC. The smartphone also features 4GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage.
For photography, Motion is equipped with a 12-megapixel snapper at the back with f/2.0 aperture. For selfies, there s an 8-megapixel snapper up front. The rest of the features include a massive 4,000mAh battery underneath, and IP67 certification making the device water and dust resistant. On the software front, the Motion runs on Android Nougat 7.1 out-of-the-box.
BlackBerry Motion price
The BlackBerry Motion will be going on sale in Middle Eastern countries priced around $460 (Rs 30,000 approximately). There s currently no word on a launch in other markets, including India.
To put these into perspective, the BlackBerry KEYone was launched in India earlier this year, priced at Rs 39,990. Apart from the QWERTY keypad, the KEYone features a 4.5-inch (1080×1620 pixels) display, Snapdragon 625 SoC, 4GB RAM, and 64GB internal storage.
