We’ve already learned about the BlackBerry Venice smartphone that is expected to come in both Android and BB10 variants, featuring a sliding QWERTY keypad. But it seems that’s not the only BlackBerry smartphone pegged to run Android. A video of the recently announced BlackBerry Passport Silver Edition has surfaced online, and its running Android Lollipop.

The lengthy hands-on video posted on YouTube by Dudu Rocha Tec. shows the BlackBerry Passport smartphone running on the latest stock Android Lollipop OS. We couldn’t understand much as the video is in Portuguese language. However, one of the interesting features highlight in is the video is the ability to scroll through the interface and app drawer by swiping across the physical keyboard.

Based on past leaks, the smartphone features a codename BlackBerry Oslo. In terms of rumored specifications, it could be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 801 SoC paired with 3GB of RAM. There’s no word on the internal or external storage as yet.

The smartphone is also expected to come equipped with a 13-megapixel main camera with LED flash. It could also come with a beefy 3,450mAh battery to offer enough juice to sail through the day. While the release date and specifications aren’t known yet, we will keep a tab on more details as they emerge.
