Blackberry Classic aka Q20 photos with physical navigation and trackpad leaked

We already know of BlackBerry’s plans to release a host of smartphones this year. Part of the kitty, the rumored Blackberry Q20 codenamed Classic’s photo has just been leaked on China’s social networking site Weibo. On the account of a reseller who occasionally gets hold of prototype devices, the photo reportedly shows the upcoming BlackBerry Q20 that is slated to launch sometime in November. BlackBerry Classic is set to be the successor of last year’s Q10. The leaked image shows a much squarer and larger device than its predecessor and also affirms the return of physical navigation and the trackpad. The images also reveal stereo speakers and a drawer, either for nano-SIM card, or microSD card. According to the leaker, the camera of BlackBerry Q20 will be better than its predecessor, and it will run on the not-yet-released 10.3 OS. The handset is expected to house a 1.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 processor paired with 2GB of RAM.

However before the Classic is unveiled in November, BlackBerry is expected to launch the odd-shaped BlackBerry Passport on September24. Passport is set to feature a 4.5-inch LCD display with 1440 1440 pixel resolution, and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The device will run on a 2.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor paired with a 3GB RAM. The handset will have massive 32GB of built-in storage, expandable further via microSD slot. The device will feature a 13-megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilizer, along with a 2-megapixel front camera. The phone packs a punch with a huge 3450mAh battery and is running on OS 10.3.
