BlackBerry announced that it has shipped 6.8 million smartphones in the last quarter, many were wondering that how many BB10 devices were included in that figure. The company revealed in the investor call that 40 percent of the smartphones of the 6.8 million figure were powered by BB10. The company also revealed that BB7 was not dead as a platform, and it was planning to launch one phone based on it. The company also specified that it will only have 6 phones at any given time in the market, hinting that it would be streamlining its product line and focussing on fewer things.
