Now, the Chinese smartphone maker is all set to launch its latest model called BV9500 Pro, which the company claims can survive anything. Blackview is planning on crowdfunding the phone on Indiegogo website. Customers who support the project, will also get a 20 percent discount on ordering the phone. Blackview doesn t seem to be exaggerating when it says that the phone is indestructible. The smartphone features a robust chassis reinforced by aviation grade aluminum alloy, and industrial rubber. As a result, the phone is durable, and can handle the harshest of situations. Blackview has even created a video in which the phone can been seen surviving a number of the extreme tests. This includes being frozen in ice, run over by a car, being dropped from a height, being buried in sand, and being thrown onto rough surfaces. The phone also features an ingress rating of IP68, which means it s both water and dust proof. It can be submerged about 1.8 meters under water for 30 minutes. Blackview also claims on its website that the phone will work under extremely hot or cold conditions.

Blackview BV9500 runs on a MediaTek MT6763T chipset paired with 6GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage. It features a 5.7-inch Full HD+ (1080×2160 pixels) display with a tall aspect ratio of 18:9. Underneath the rugged design, the phone features a massive 10,000mAh battery, which also supports 12V/2A wireless charging.

For taking pictures, the phone comes with dual 12-megapixel sensors at the back that are provided by Sony. The front camera is 13-megapixel, which comes from Samsung. Lastly, the phone runs Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box.
