The state owned telecom service, BSNL has introduced two new STV or special tariff voucher plans that come with unlimited voice calling benefit. And as is the tradition with BSNL, the company has again launched these plans not in all the circles but only in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana circles.
The two new prepaid plans are named BSNL Ananth and Ananth Plus, and are priced at Rs 105 and Rs 328 respectively. Both these plans have unlimited local, STD and roaming voice calling facility. Where they differ though is in the validity of both the plans. But the benefits that are available with both these plans are the same.
To begin with the entry level BSNL Anant Prepaid Plan is priced at Rs 105, and it provides users with unlimited local, STD as well as roaming voice calls, and is valid for up to 26 days. The Anant plan comes without any FUP limit on the unlimited calling.
The BSNL Anant Plus Prepaid plan, on the other hand, has a validity of 90 days, though the pricing of the plan is Rs 319 in all its 20 circles in India as well as the Mahanagar Telecom Nigam Limited circles of Mumbai and Delhi. But in the Andhra Pradesh & Telangana circle the plan is priced at Rs 328. The validity of the plan in all the circle is the same, which is 90 days.
User must take note that BSNL Ananth and Ananth Plus are voice-only prepaid plans from the telecom company, and provides unlimited voice calling on local as well as while roaming. This is BSNL’s response to Airtel and Reliance Jio who are also providing free unlimited calling to any other network in India.
