State-owned telecom operator Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has been busy overhauling its broadband and cellular offerings since the last few weeks. However, it seems the company is not done yet. Now that the preview offer of Reliance’s upcoming JioGigaFiber broadband service is live for selected customers, BSNL has overhauled its own offerings, making them even more lucrative.
According to a report by Telecom Talk, BSNL has revised multiple FTTH broadband plans that it currently offers in the Chennai telecom circle, sprucing them up with more data and better speeds. Here’s everything you need to know:
Fibro Combo ULD 2999
Priced at Rs 2,999, this plan now offers 100Mbps speeds (downlink and uplink) and a monthly FUP data allowance of 2TB. It also comes bundled with unlimited local and STD calls to any network within India. Apart from that, subscribers will get a free e-mail address with 1GB of storage space with the plan.
Fibro Combo ULD 1699
If the above plan is too much for your requirements, take a look at the ULD 1699 offering. At a price of Rs 1,699, it offers 1.1TB of FUP data allowance and 100Mbps (downlink and uplink) speeds. Of course, you also get unlimited voice calls to any network within India
Fibro Combo ULD 1299
This plan does offer 100Mbps downlink and uplink speeds, but the FUP data is reduced to 800GB a month. Post FUP limit, the speed is reduced to 2Mbps. Unlimited voice calls to any network within India are thrown into the mix as well. This plan is priced at Rs 1,299.

Fibro Combo ULD 999
The most-affordable of BSNL’s FTTH broadband offerings in the Chennai circle, this plan comes with 80Mbps downlink and uplink speeds, as well as a monthly FUP data allowance of 600GB. Post that, speeds are reduced to 2Mbps. That said, unlimited voice calls to any network in India are still there. The plan is priced at Rs 999.
