The free voice calls exclude roaming calls to Mumbai and Delhi. Additionally, post the daily data quota of 1GB, the speeds will be throttled at 40Kbps. As Trak.in reports, these benefits are valid for the first 180 days. For the remaining 185 days, voice calls will be charged at 60 paise per minute for both BSNL-to-BSNL and off-net calls. The Rs 999 plan is valid in regions except for Jammu & Kashmir, Assam, and North East circles.
Idea Cellular Nirvana Plans
Idea Cellular has updated three of its Nirvana postpaid plans, priced at Rs 499, Rs 649, and Rs 999. Similar to Vodafone Red plans, the Idea Nirvana plans promise high-speed data, unlimited calls, SMS, and other benefits. With the updated plans, Idea is offering additional benefits of free 4-month subscription to Idea Phone Secure, 4-month subscription to Idea Magazines, and a free 12-month subscription to Idea Infotainment Apps.
The Rs 499 Nirvana Plan now offers 40GB data with a rollover limit of up to 200GB. This means if you are left with any amount of data at the end of the monthly validity, the unused data will be rolled over to the next month. There’s no daily limit on the data. The plan further offers unlimited calls including national roaming, local, and STD. Per day SMS limit is 100. Earlier the plan offered 30GB of data.
The Rs 649 Nirvana Plan now offers 50GB of data, up from the previous offering of 45GB high-speed data. Unlimited calling benefits, daily 100 SMS limits, and data rollover limit of up to 200GB are also applicable.
Lastly, the Rs 999 Nirvana Plan now offers 80GB data, as opposed to the previous offering of 70GB. Unlimited calling benefits, 100 daily SMS, and data rollover up to 200GB are applicable. If compared, the BSNL plan offers a total of 180GB of data for 180 days at Rs 999. Whereas, the Idea Nirvana Rs 999 plan offers one-tenth of the data quota at the same price, albeit for postpaid users where data rollover is possible.
