BSNL has come up with a new plan for all its landline customers. The government-owned telco is providing unlimited voice calls for a month at Rs 99. However, the calls are only limited to the BSNL network. The plan is available in all 27 territorial telecom circles of BSNL.
Gizbot reported CFA, NK Mehta saying, “This innovative unlimited plan will help families to restrict their expenditure on telecom services and, at the same time, enjoy unlimited voice calling with excellent voice quality.” It looks like the company is focusing on increasing its landline subscribers. On the other hand, the plan should also help families living in different cities reduce their monthly landline cost substantially.
In other news, BSNL also launched four new broadband plans recently. The plans start at a minimum of Rs 99, in which the company is offering 1.5GB of data per day at 20Mbps speeds. After the completion of the FUP limit, speeds will be reduced to 1Mbps. It has validity of a month. After that is the Rs 199 plan, which offers 5GB per day, at the same speed and validity of a month. That amounts to 150GB for a month, which sounds pretty good at that price.

Additionally, there are also Rs 299 and Rs 399 plans, which offer 10GB and 20GB data for a day respectively. All plans also come bundled with unlimited voice calling across the country. A few days ago, BSNL also launched the Family Plan, which comes with three SIM cards that offer 1GB data per day and costs Rs 1,199. It also comes with a telephone line and broadband connection that offers 30GB of data per day and unlimited voice calling.
