BSNL recently introduced voice-only prepaid STVs priced at Rs 99 and Rs 319 that offers unlimited voice calls without any FUP limits. Now, the state-run telecom operator has introduced one more STV plan priced at Rs 39 with the same benefits. The new plan comes with a validity of 10 days, and is valid across all BSNL circles across India.

Along with unlimited voice calls, the plan also offers 100 free SMS and PRBT (caller ringtone) through the validity period. However, like other BSNL plans, the free voice calling benefits will not be applicable in Mumbai and Delhi circles. The other plans, Rs 99 STV offers unlimited voice calling, free PRBT and validity of 26 days, whereas the Rs 319 STV also offers same benefits with 90 days validity. Sadly, these two plans don’t include any SMS benefits.

Reliance Jio, on the other hand, has a plan priced at Rs 49 which comes with a validity of 28 days, 50 free SMS, and unlimited voice calls. The plan also includes 1GB high-speed 4G data, and once the limit is hit, users can continue surfing the internet at reduced speed of 64Kbps.

The plan also includes a complimentary subscription to Jio suite of apps such as JioMovies, JioTV and JioMusic. There is just one small catch though, the plan is only available for JioPhone feature phone users. For regular smartphone users, there is a plan priced at Rs 98, which offers the same benefits.
