Rajan Anandan, Google‘s vice president and managing director for South East Asia and India is also a well known angel investor. Today he took on to Twitter to share his thoughts and advise young entrepreneurs. Some of his tweets are pure gold and are a must read for anyone wanting to become an entrepreneur. While his advice to start-up enthusiasts is considered as pure-gold, Anandan was also answering questions, both relevant and irrelevant ones. With a lot of young and creative minds out there having innovative ideas, Anandan kept stressing on one thing build stuff first, investors will come to you. In one Tweet, Anandan revealed that he got 22 business plans yesterday, out of which 21 were pure plans , whereas one product had no users. He also mentioned that out of the 60 investments that he has made in India, all have users and an appealing product idea.

When a couple of enthusiastic people tweeted to him saying they have an idea but lack technical knowledge, Anandan directed them to the Android Nanodegree program.

Anandan also congratulated Zomato and its founder Deepinder Goyal, for being India s first global consumer internet company and number one in 18 countries, such as South Africa, Australia and United Kingdom among others.
