Apart from the diminutive PowerShot N, Canon has launched a wide array of products at CES today. Adding to its PowerShot line of point-and-shoot cameras, Canon has launched the ELPH 130 IS, A2600, and A1400. Also Read - Samsung and LG confirm presence at in-person CES 2022
The PowerShot ELPH 130 IS has been designed in such a way that it is easy for users to transfer photos to their iOS or Android device. All this of course happens via an app on the corresponding platform and the camera itself makes use of Wi-Fi to transfer the content. Technically speaking though, the PowerShot ELPH 130 IS has a 16-megapixel sensor that works in tandem with a DIGIC 4 processor and comes with a 28mm wide-angle lens with 5x of optical zoom. It also combines the same Eco mode Canon has talked about in the PowerShot N and also has a 3-inch LCD screen. Canon has announced a price of $199 (Rs 10,813). The PowerShot A2600 is yet another point-and-shoot that comes with a 16-megapixel sensor and has a 28mm lens with a 5x optical zoom. It can also shoot 720p video and comes preloaded with 32 custom shooting scenarios. Canon has also thrown in the Eco mode; to make it power efficient and it also has a 3-inch display. Lastly, the PowerShot A1400 also packs in a 16-megapixel sensor that works in concert with the DIGIC 4 processor, and a 28mm wide-angle lens that has 5x optical zoom. It even has digital image stabilization and it can shoot HD video and can be powered by two AA batteries. This model also has the new Eco Mode that the company is introducing across its product line. The PowerShot A1400 has an announced price of $109.99 (Rs 5,976).
Apart from all these digital cameras, Canon has also announced the VIXIA HF R, and VIXIA HF G20 camcorders.
