There’s no denying that the Huawei Watch is one of the best looking smartwatches out there, but it was missing a more elegant variant for the ladies. Until now that is. While the basic dimensions are retained, the Huawei Watch gets a complete cosmetic makeover, and also features slimmer leather straps. The Watch Jewel, as the name suggests, boast 68 Swarovski crystals at 1.5mm each, on a rose-gold stainless steel body. If bling is not your thing, there is a more subtle variant called the Watch Elegant. This variant swaps the crystals for a fine dotted pattern on the watch’s rim. That’s about all the differences, and as mentioned above, the specifications and features remain the same. So in essence, you get a 1.4-inch (400×400 pixels) AMOLED display at a pixel density of 286ppi. Under the hood is a 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 Processor paired with 512MB of RAM, and also on offer is 4GB internal storage. Also Read - Why 2021 was the year of foldable display smartphones?
The smartwatch also features a 300mAh battery that the company claims is good enough for up to two days on regular usage, and connectivity options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, and heart rate sensor. On the software front, it runs on the latest version of Android Wear, and is compatible with both Android smartphones and iPhones.
The new Huawei Watch Elegant, and Watch Jewel will go on sale in select countries from March onwards. There is however no word on the pricing yet.
