Now, with the hint of world s best processor, we could safely assume that the new Asus smartphone could be powered by Qualcomm s newest flagship chipset, Snapdragon 835, which is also making its debut at the CES 2017. The new chipset will be 30 percent more efficient, offer performance improvement of 27 percent, and will consume 40 percent less power compared to the existing chipsets.

The Zenfone 3 Zoom has been speculated to feature a 5.5-inch full HD display with 1920×1080 pixel resolution. Under the hood, as teased in the latest post by Asus, the smartphone may be powered by Qualcomm s Snapdragon 835 chipset. Although many previous leaks have speculated the Snapdragon 652 processor at the heart, clocked at 2.0GHz. Further, the smartphone is expected to be available in three variants based on RAM and onboard storage. Speculated are a 2GB RAM + 16GB ROM model, 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM version, and 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM variant.
Talking about the camera abilities of the smartphone, which is, as mentioned earlier one of the high points of the smartphone, the Asus Zenfone 3 Zoom, is expected to come with the 3x optical zoom feature. The purported powerful optical zoom also justifies the infinity sign in the teaser. The smartphone is further rumored to come with a dual rear camera module with a pair of 12.2-megapixel and 13-megapixel rear sensors. On the front, it is expected to sport a 13-megapixel snapper.
