Xiaomi, after having launched a slew of smartphones last year, isn t done with them in 2017. Having made its debut at CES 2017 in Las Vegas, Xiaomi is playing the color game with its already launched smartphones. The company began with the bezel-less Mi MIX smartphone by launching a white version as rumored and hinted previously. The white version of the Xiaomi Mi MIX as said by Hugo Barra has a pearl-like finish. Continuing the trend, Xiaomi has unveiled three new versions of the Mi Note 2 smartphone in colors of pink, green, and purple. Xiaomi had launched the Mi Note 2 and the Mi MIX together at an event last year in October. Though we have seen a pink Xiaomi smartphone before, purple and green are really interesting color choices. The Mi Note 2 boasts a 3D glass design at the front and back, which accentuates the new colors giving a glossy and ceramic look. Xiaomi s Mi Note 2 design is akin to the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge smartphone, and interestingly, the Galaxy S6 edge was launched in an emerald green color. Just like the Mi MIX, the Mi Note 2 is also a China-exclusive, and the company has made it quite clear that it doesn t have any plans to launch either the Mi Note 2 or the Mi MIX in India.
