CES 2018: How to watch Sony press conference live at 6:30AM IST on January 9

Sony is widely expected to unveil more than one smartphone at CES 2018.

CES 2018 is around the corner, and companies are gearing up to showcase their products and technologies at the event. Among them is Sony. The company has confirmed that it would hold a press conference on January 8, where it will unveil “exclusive news & updates”. Sony’s press conference will begin at 5:00PM PST on January 8(6.30AM IST January 9).

Recently there have been quite a few rumors around three new Sony smartphones – Xperia L2, Xperia XA2, and Xperia XA2 Ultra. If reports are to be believed, these smartphones might officially launch at CES.

Apart from that, Sony is also expected to unveil its first bezel-less smartphone, called the Xperia XZ1 Premium at the event. The smartphone will allegedly sport a 5.5-inch screen with 2160×3840 pixels resolution. The smartphone will probably sport a 12-megapixel dual rear camera setup, and a fingerprint scanner on the back.

Apart from that, the Xperia L2 is expected to feature a 5.5-inch display, and a 16:9 aspect ratio and will be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 630 SoC, paired with 4GB of RAM. On the other hand, the Xperia XA2 Ultra is rumored to feature a 6-inch display size with 16:9 as its aspect ratio. Whereas, the Xperia XA2 will allegedly feature a 5-inch display.
