In addition, Xiaomi also posted another poster of its new laptop. This time, it shows a computer keyboard with keys 3, 8, C and J highlighted in orange. The keys are marked as the time and place where the Mi Notebook Pro 2 will be released, on August 3 at ChinaJoy event.
Other than the promotional poster, Xiaomi also posted a note for this photo with a “secret message” – a string of “!)%” which is rather confusing. However when interpreted, if you look at the computer keyboard, you can see that these are the symbols on the numeric keypad – “1050”.
So this “secret message” has suggested that Mi Notebook Pro 2 will be equipped with Nvidia GTX 1050 graphics card. This is a major upgrade compared to the MX150 graphics card on the Mi Notebook Pro from last year. Along with the laptop, it is expected that Xiaomi could also announce a customized version of Mi Band 3 fitness watch tomorrow.
