The Snapdragon 850 also supports Ultra HD Premium content playback, and 4K video capture support too. With Artificial Intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) being a focus for most tech companies, Qualcomm doesn t want to be far behind. It will enable developers to make use of Microsoft Machine Learning SDK to enable new experiences on the platform.

With Snapdragon 850 SoC Qualcomm is also offering OEMs to work with new form factors, making way for sleek and innovative designs. Windows 10 devices powered by Snapdragon 850 SoC are expected to hit the market in the coming months.

And while the first batch of devices came from the likes of HP, Asus, and other OEMs, there is no word on which companies are bringing always-connected PCs powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 850 SoC.
