Since its launch last year, the Google s Motorola-made Nexus 6 has seen numerous price drops. Recently, its retail price dropped to Rs 36,999, and now there is a further price drop. The price drop is applicable for both 32GB and 64GB variants, with the retail price dropping down to Rs 34,999 and Rs 39,999 respectively. The new prices are currently reflected on Flipkart. The e-commerce site however has made an exchange offer available for both the variants, which bring the price down further to Rs 29,999 and Rs 34,999. As with Flipkart s exchange offers, only selected smartphones are eligible and the price varies from handset to handset. The offer is also available in selected locations, and you can check if you are eligible by typing in your pin code on the e-commerce site.
For a refresh, the Nexus 6 was launched in India last year priced at Rs 44,000 for the 32GB variant and Rs 49,000 for the 64GB variant. It features a 5.96-inch QHD (2560 1440 pixels) AMOLED display, 2.7GHz Snapdragon 805 quad-core processor, and 3GB of RAM.
The smartphone also features a 13-megapixel rear camera, 2-megapixel front camera, and a 3,220mAh battery. It runs on Android Lollipop, and comes with Motorola s Turbo Charger, which as per the company s claims can give users six hours of battery life at 15 minutes of charging.
