West Indian cricketers are known for putting up a show in their matches. Following the T20 World Cup title victory, WI players danced to the tunes of Dwayne ‘DJ’ Bravo’s catchy song ‘Champion’, which has now swept the Internet. On the lines of the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge and Harlem Shake, the song has become viral with users flooding social media with their own Champion dance versions. It all began with Bravo posted the song on Twitter and challenged his teammate Chris Gayle to perform the Champion dance. Gayle sportingly accepted the challenge and danced to the song and posted it on Instagram. Later Gayle posted the song on his wall, but he further nominated Virat Kohli, Amitabh Bachchan and AB De Villiers for this ‘Champion’ challenge.
Harbhajan Singh and members of the Indian women’s cricket team also participated in the Champion dance challenge. Besides cricketers, Olympic gold medalist and the sprinter Usain Bolt also posted an entertaining version of the dance while singing the song.
