A 60 percent reduction in noise is significant considering how noisy and distracting the drones can be. The newer version also uses newer DJI OcuSync HD transmission system instead of the Lightbridge video transmission system in the older version. OcuSync allows a high-resolution video transmission at low-latency. This connects with DJI Goggles RE without any wires along with support for automatic dual-frequency band switching. With all these updates, DJI has managed to keep the core functionality of the new version same as the older version. Phantom 4 Pro V2 will come with 30 minutes of flight time, 7 km of transmission range, 5-direction obstacle sensing, 1-inch CMOS sensor with 20-megapixel resolution, mechanical shutter, 4K video recording at 60 frames per second in H.264 codec or 4K at 30 frames per second in H.265 codec and a burst mode that can shoot images at 14 frames per second. Even with improved transmission functionality and almost similar functionality, the new version is slightly lighter in weight.
In addition to the Phantom 4 Pro V4 V2.0, DJI has also introduced Phantom 4 Pro+ V20 that comes with a 5.5-inch 1080p resolution screen that is built into the remote.
