Apple s spaceship-like campus has been a constant talk of the town since the tech giant got an approval to build it in November 2013. Aerial documentarian, Matthew Roberts has been regularly releasing drone footage of the Apple campus to show fans the progress of the construction. The latest video shared by Roberts shows the facility’s Fitness Center for employees, the Parking structure, the solar panels, the Auditorium and the tunnels. It also hints that construction is nearing completion. Also Read - PUBG New State receives over 17 million pre-registrations as closed alpha testing endsAlso Read - iPhone selling in LG stores? Robert suggests in the video that the Fitness Center will be spread in 100,000 square feet in the campus. It will also have parking structure that will accommodate about 11,000 vehicles. The parking lot will be covered with solar panel, which will produce an estimated 16 megawatts of power. The video shows that Apple has completed placing around 95 percent of the panels. The video also documents a mountain of dirt lying in the campus area, which Robert claims will be later used in the landscaping of the premises. The underground tunnels made in the Apple Campus 2 also look like they are getting their final touch with a layer of construction foam on top of them.
The entire spaceship-look alike campus will use about 1.23 million square feet of glass. The Cupertino-based campus is also said to accommodate an in-house auditorium and visitor center, which is spread across 120,000 square feet. Looking at the size of the auditorium, Apple is likely to hold future events in here.
