Back in March, Dropbox introduced a new notification menu on its desktop app, wherein all the app activities could be viewed at one place. The cloud storage and file sharing service has now introduced a small but important feature to its desktop client called link sharing. When users right click on any document, photo or a folder stored in Dropbox, they will see a new option called Share Dropbox Link . Click on it and you will get a short hyperlink, which will be stored on the clipboard and can be copied and pasted as many times one needs.
Dropbox has been busy in the past few months updating apps across all platforms and introducing new features like document previews, social photo sharing, PDF viewing capabilities and push notifications. It had also recently acquired iOS mail app Mailbox and integrated with Yahoo Mail to help send large attachments.
