Dubai Police officers will be able to click photos of traffic offenders by double tapping the edge of Google Glass frame and the photos will be automatically sent to a central database via a custom app, Gulf News reports. The second app will enable cops to look at number plates, which will be automatically be referenced from the central database of wanted or stolen cars and will raise a flag in case the number plate is found on the database. Google Glass is currently only available in the US for $1,500. However, the first generation of Google Glass has limited battery life and it remains to be seen how Dubai Police overcomes that limitation. Also Read - Common marketing gimmicks that brands should avoid to exploit consumers
