Duracell, an American company that focuses on battery and smart power products has just announced the launch of its powerbanks in India. The company announced that the new powerbanks will make their debut as part of the ongoing Great Indian Festival sale by Amazon India. The powerbanks will be online exclusive to Amazon as Duracell enters the powerbank market in India. The company has launched three powerbanks with a capacity of about 10,050 mAh, 6,700 mAh, and 3,350 mAh which are sufficient for most usage scenarios and requirements.
The 10,050 mAh powerbank is priced at Rs 1,999, the 6,700 mAh capacity powerbank is priced at Rs 1,499 and the 3,350 mAh powerbank is priced at Rs 999. According to the announcement, the company claims that it’s 10,050 mAh powerbank will be able to deliver power to your electronic devices about “2x faster than a regular 5W wall-mounted socket”. In addition to that, Duracell also added that it can charge your device to provide up to 72 hours of battery backup. These powerbanks will be compatible “most” electronic devices and smartphones that are powered by USB which includes both Apple and Android devices.

The company claimed that the powerbanks can charge your device “up to 30 percent in 20 minutes” which would really depend on the device being charged according to us. The company has also provided a three-year warranty on its powerbanks which is substantial considering that most powerbanks don’t last that long.
Duracell also claimed that it has also added ten protection features in the powerbanks that include protection against short circuit, overvoltage at output, over temperature, overcharge or discharge at cell level, cable loop, over or under voltage at input, overload at output, under temperature, dual safety circuits along with a flame retardant case.
