In terms of design, the new Dyson Pure Cool looks identical to its predecessor but offers an LCD display that shows which particles and gases are being detected by the purifier in real time. The purifier is capable of automatically detecting pollutants such as PM 2.5 and PM 10. It also comes with VOC and NO2 sensors for detecting Volatile Organic Compounds such as benzene and formaldehyde and presence of nitrogen dioxide. It also has a sensor to detect ambient room temperature and relative humidity in the air. Also Read - Valentine's Day 2020: Top 10 gadgets that you can gift your better half
With new Pure Cool, Dyson has improved its 360-degree filter by splitting it into individual HEPA and carbon filters. The HEPA filter is also taller and denser with 50 percent more capability while the carbon filter comes with three times more activated carbon to absorb gases, odours, domestic fumes and VOCs. Dyson claims that the new filtration system is capable of capturing 99.95 percent of particle pollution as small as 0.1 micron.
The Dyson Pure Cool air purifier also supports air multiplier technology and 350 degree oscillation that allows the machine to project over 360 litres of purified air per second to every corner of the room. In order to avoid the cooling effect in winter, Dyson Pure Cool also supports diffused airflow mode. In the diffused airflow mode, the Pure Cool works just as a purifier and does not project cool air towards the user. Dyson has designed an aerodynamic flow mechanism that channels the air through the sides of the loop and directs the airflow towards the rear of the machine.
Dyson Pure Cool air purifier also connects to mobile devices via Dyson Link app that allows users to track indoor and outdoor pollution, temperature and humidity levels. The app also allows you to control your machine and set schedule for purification. The app supports over-the-air updates, which can be used to update the systems with updated Dyson software for air purification.
