Avenir Telecom has introduced a new rugged smartphone from its portfolio, the Energizer Hardcase H570S. The smartphone boasts a massive battery, shock and water-resistance capabilities as its highlights. The Energizer Hardcase H570S will be available starting Q2, 2018. The smartphone features a 5.7-inch full-HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio with Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top. Even with the narrow bezels on the side, the shock-resistance abilities make the smartphone durable. The company has also added water-resistance capabilities to the phone with an IP68 rating. Under the hood, there is a Mediatek MT6739 Quad-Core processor clocked at 1.5GHz and paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. For optics, there is a dual-camera setup at the back with a combination of 16-megapixel + 0.3-megapixel sensors. Up front, there is a dual 8-megapixel camera with a light sensor.
It is fueled by a 4,800mAh battery which comes with Intelligent Power Saving technology and supports fast charging via a USB-C cable. On the software front, the Energizer Hardcase H570S runs Android 8.0 Oreo out-of-the-box. It includes Google Mobile Services (GMS). All updates and apps on the Google platform are available in the latest version.
Connectivity options include dual-SIM support, 4G LTE, fingerprint sensor, and NFC technology. The phone is branded as an Energizer product, but is manufactured and marketed by Avenir Telecom, a French mobile phone maker. The company first showcased its Energizer devices at MWC 2018, which concluded last week.
