When smartphones moved from 1,000 to 5,000mAh batteries last year, it was a big deal, and a change most users were looking forward too. However, a company called Energizer, which as the name suggests, has the majority of its attention on mobile power, has taken the game to the next level. May be it skipped a few levels too. In a recently outed teaser video, the company has teased the Energizer Power Max P16K Pro smartphone, that is meant to come with a humongous 16,000mAh battery. Like the teaser reveals, the smartphone will come with a 5.99-inch 1080p+ display. The video also teases an 8-megapixel selfie camera on the device, which can be seen accompanied by a flash. The teased smartphone s design looks very close to what we have seen on the Power Max P600S. For that matter, majority of the teased and speculated specifications like the screen, chipset, and the camera setup at the back, resemble the Power Max P600S. The only prominent change we notice at this point is the massive leap from the 4,500mAh battery in the P600S to a whopping 16,000mAh capacity in P16K Pro.
Further, according to Digit, at the official launch of the phone at MWC 2018, the company will be detailing its India plans for the smartphone as well. It plans to showcase 22 phones, including 12 new products, the report says.
The company has already unveiled a number of smartphones until now. The Power Max P600S, which was launched earlier this year, comes with an 18:9 Full HD display, and is powered by a MediaTek Helio P25 SoC. The phone is equipped with a dual-rear camera setup with 13-megapixel and 5-megapixel configuration, while at the front is an 8-megapixel camera. The phone is available in 3GB and 6GB variants. The company also launched a bunch of rugged smartphones like the Hardcase H240S feature phone, and the Energy E520 smartphone.
