Evernote has launch a new application for Google’s Android platform called Food, which has been designed to make it easy to save and find every meal that one has and share it with one’s friends and family. Food borrows a lot from the Swipe UI introduced in the latest version of Evernote for Android 4.0. It is useful for cataloging recipes as one can tag images with captions and also geo tag them through a mapping integration with FourSquare. Using Food, one can even create scrollable Meal Lists by combining all the cataloged meals. These meals can also be searched also. The app can be downloaded for free on the Google Play market.
