BlackBerry s future is under the limelight and though it has signed a letter of intent with Fairfax Financial regarding a $4.7 billion bid, there are still a lot of speculations regarding the impending takeover. The likes of Lenovo, Samsung, Google and Intel among others have already been linked with the company and now it seems former Apple boss John Sculley has put his hat in the ring, Reuters reports. In a coy interview with a Canadian newspaper, though he didn t explicatively mention a bid, he did say that he was a BlackBerry fan and user for the longest time. Sculley isn t the first individual who sees a future for the Canadian company. As we have reported before, BlackBerry s co-founder Mike Lazardis recently increased his stake in the company to 8 percent seemingly planning to make a bid for the company.
