The Honor 6 Plus was launched in China towards the end of last year boasting a 5.5-inch display and a unique “bionic parallel dual lens camera.” BGR India has learnt that the smartphone is all set to soon launch in India with an exclusive online partnership. Earlier Honor, which is Huawei’s premium smartphone brand, had partnered with Flipkart to launch its Honor 6 and Honor Holly smartphones in India. The smartphone’s USP is what the company calls “bionic parallel dual lens camera” at the back. It is essentially includes a pair of 8-megapixel cameras accompanied by a dual-LED flash. As per the company, the two cameras capture images at a resolution of 4160×3120 pixels and are able to capture twice the amount of light compared to a single sensor. As far as the rest of specifications are concerned, the Honor 6 Plus flaunts a 5.5-inch full HD (1920×1080 pixels) IPS LCD display with a pixel density of 401ppi. The smartphone is powered by a HiSilicon Kirin 925 octa-core (quad-core Cortex-A15 + quad-core Cortex-A7) processor paired with Mali-T628 MP4 GPU and 3GB of RAM. The Honor 6 Plus also features 16GB internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 128GB using a microSD card, and a non-removable 3,600mAh battery. Connectivity options include LTE support, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, dual-band, Bluetooth 4.0, and on the software front, it runs on Android KitKat wrapped under Emotion 3.0 UI.
