The recent update to the Facebook app for iOS devices gave users an option to choose what content they wanted to see on their news feed among other new changes. Facebook has now turned its attention to the business pages on the social network and has launched a completely refreshed layout that promises to increase the interactivity between the brand and its users. Businesses and brands who have pages on Facebook can now take advantage of a new layout, which introduces a set of interactive buttons that always remain on the top of the page. These buttons will come in handy for users who want to call or message the company or share the page with one s friends. Page owners have also been given more control over the content on the pages and can now choose to highlight particular posts which will then go right to the top of the page.
The social media giant is also making it easier for advertisers to target users on feature phones who do not have the advantage of bigger screens. Through the Power Editor feature on the Android and iOS apps, advertisers can now choose where they want their ads placed and also get a real-time view on how the page will look on a feature phone.
Facebook has said that these layout changes will be available on iOS device users immediately, with an update for Android devices expected in the coming days.
