Photo sharing site Flickr has rolled out an update to its iOS application, which now comes with hashtag support. This new version will allow users to add hashtags to the description and title of the images, which will also help in better search results. The hashtag feature will work similar to the Twitter’s hashtag wherein the user tags to their tweets, which makes these tweets searchable under that particular tag name. Unlike previously when searching for images of a particular type would result in random pictures, this will filter out the appropriate images which hold the searched hashtag on them. This feature update will help the users get a better search experience.
