HMD Global recently launched two Android One-based smartphones in India, the Nokia 5.1 Plus and Nokia 6.1 Plus. Besides Android One, both smartphones come with a glass back design and a tall screen with a notch at the top. The Nokia 5.1 Plus is priced at Rs 10,999, whereas the Nokia 6.1 Plus is priced at Rs 15,999. However, with Flipkart gearing up to host the Big Billion Days Sale soon, you get up to Rs 1,000 off on the smartphones.
The Big Billion Days Sale takes place between October 10 and October 14, and during this period, a lot of smartphones will be available at interesting prices. These also include the Samsung Galaxy S8, Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 and Zenfone 5Z to name a few.

Now, coming back to the Nokia 5.1 Plus, it will be available at flat Rs 500 off, which means you can get it for just Rs 10,499. Similarly, the Nokia 6.1 Plus will be available for Rs 14,999 after a flat discount of Rs 1,000. Besides this, HDFC bank credit and debit card users will be able to avail 10 percent instant discount on transactions, there will be exchange offers, and you can also get a mobile protection plan starting at Rs 99.
The Nokia 5.1 Plus comes with a 5.8-inch HD+ display and 19:9 aspect ratio. Powered by a MediaTek Helio P60 SoC, it comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB storage. With a dual rear camera setup comprising of a 13-megapixel primary and 5-megapixel secondary depth sensor, the smartphone also comes with an 8-megapixel front camera. To keep things ticking, there is a 3,060mAh battery.
The Nokia 6.1 Plus, on the other hand, also comes with a 5.8-inch display with 19:9 aspect ratio, but with a higher full HD+ resolution. With Snapdragon 636 SoC under the hood, it comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage. While the battery capacity remains the same at 3,060mAh, the camera setup changes. At the back, you get a 16-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary depth sensor, whereas on the front, you get a higher resolution 16-megapixel sensor.
