One of the leading digital payment platform, Freecharge, announced its partnership with bus aggregator platform Shuttl on Thursday. Shuttl will be able to offer its commuters a swifter and secured way to pay with Freecharge. Shuttl covers over 20,000 rides per day and approximately 400 buses on over 100 routes. Freecharge had also announced its partnership with Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) earlier this month. HPCL is a leading state-owned oil company figuring in the Forbes 2000 and Fortune 500 list. Customers can now pay for their fuel bills at the HPCL petrol pumps using the Freecharge wallet in less than 10 seconds by generating the OnTheGo Pin even in the absence of internet connectivity making the whole transaction process seamless and swifter.
